Minecraft is a widely popular 3D video game that lets users explore, construct, create, and interact inside an open and changeable virtual world. Because of its educational potential, Minecraft has evolved into an excellent (and engaging) way to expose students to STEM-related subjects, especially computer science and technology.
Students will use their own Minecraft Java account to connect to our server. Once per week, on Fridays, students will connect and talk with each other using the Zoom app. In addition, the server will remain open during non-Zoom hours to allow kids to continue their exploration and build projects. The Java version is only playable on the computer.

Prior to the class, you will receive an email with the information needed to join our multiplayer server and our Zoom meetings.
New Minecraft worlds will be uploaded every month for exploration and discovery.
Families can register by the month.
