With summer upon us, parents have important decisions to make regarding their children’s activities. A key decision, given the Covid-19 pandemic, is which summer programs might be best for their children.
With in-person summer programs limited because of the pandemic, we know parents are looking for a mix of in-person and virtual activities.
While we are unable to offer in-person activities at our academy this summer because of the pandemic, we are committed to providing families with affordable, worthwhile, and high-quality virtual summer options.
Please know that we are now offering 8 weeks of virtual summer programs.
Our virtual programs are offered in manageable chunks of screen time where children are actively engaged (both in learning and in socializing).
We are running a weekly Minecraft course from 10:00-11:30 Monday to Friday that lets kids explore a virtual world while interacting with each other and our staff via Zoom. We are also offering a special virtual Code Team on Mondays 4:00-5:30 and our standard virtual Chess Team Tuesdays 4:00-5:30.
Check out our website for more details and to register.
We hope to continue to see our families via Zoom and our virtual programs. And please contact us if you have further questions.
