Our Minecraft Tournament schedule for both the Academy and the MEGA Tournament @ the Microsoft Store is now up!

These popular events are a great way for your kids to pit their Minecrafting skills against each other for both creative build and player-vs-player (PVP). The children are separated into different grade groups and a winner is chosen for each group.

In the first half of the tournament, the players will be required to build in the Creative world based on the chosen topic for that day.  After a short snack break, they will be grouped in small teams where they will play team-based PVP.

Participants do not need a Minecraft account as we use our proprietary educational software.

Why We Like Minecraft Tournaments

minecraft post

We like tournaments because it’s a great way to help your kids learn about competition and good sportsmanship. There’s disappointment, of course, if your child doesn’t win but at the same time he learns why he lost and also what he can do to improve for the next time.

Why We Like Minecraft

Due to its educational potential, Minecraft has evolved into an excellent (and engaging) way to expose students to STEM-related subjects, including computer science, technology, and other skills.

As they participate in the courses, students learn and engage in a range of STEM topics, as well as other traditional subjects like social studies, all while developing contemporary skills of digital citizenship, cooperation, and leadership.

Our Minecraft Madness! courses are among the most popular and tend to fill up quickly. We offer monthly courses where each month we introduce a different theme/map. Learn more and register here.
